Ogni baracca, ogni angolo,
le docce, gli ospedali...
Ogni misterioso edificio
conteneva un’insidia.
Morte ovunque,
impossibile non respirarla.

Con il suo odore
freddo e lancinante,
in agguato da un capo all’altro
dell’inferno abbracciato dal filo spinato.

Una donna giace in terra,
di traverso, nessuno la soccorre:
il corpo nudo, anonimo,
che conserva nella contrazione...

Qualcosa di miserevolmente osceno...
E turpe, nella bianchezza della carne,
spicca sul braccio sinistro
il numero di matricola.

the showers, the hospitals...
Every mysterious building
